Batya D. Wininger

Batya D. Wininger, LCSW, MSW, MA, CSC, KAP, REV., is a certified past life regression therapist as well as a creativity coach, licensed psychotherapist, life coach, and spiritual practitioner offering therapeutic counseling, motivational, and spiritual healing sessions for individuals, groups, and small businesses.

She has one Masters degree in cultural anthropology and a second in Clinical Social Work, and has trained extensively with Dr. Brian Weiss (professional certification), Michael Harner and Sandra Ingerman, as well as with Doug Boyd, Edgar Delgado, and Steven Gilligan. Batya is a minister and faculty member of the Circle of the Sacred Earth, and has been originator and director of the Mother Earth Healing Center in New York City.

Over the years, she has been welcomed as an active friend at the Akwesasne (Mohawk), Hopi, and Dine (Navajo) Nations, and has participated with Pete Seeger and the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater environmental group as a board member.

In addition to her private practice, Batya has worked as a psychotherapist for a number of community mental health programs, both in Brooklyn, NY and in Nashville, TN. Recently, she moved her practice to include South Florida. In the past, she developed The Support Store, an individual-oriented, goal-directed coaching practice.

"I started as a life coach before anyone knew what that was - and before there was an Oprah! show. Then, shamanism answered a deep searching for me, and I became a spiritual healing practitioner. But I couldn't help my clients integrate their healings, so I returned to school for a clinical social work/psychotherapy degree. From there, client requests led me to study directly with Dr. Brian Weiss. What a wonderful path this has been!"

Her ongoing spiritual and personal growth led Batya to study modern psychological therapy in order to provide a safe, supportive opportunity for growth to others. She participates actively in sessions, utilizing a variety of methods in response to your personal needs, respecting the individuality and concerns of each client. Batya has come to her work from a spiritual path, and holds each professional relationship - either with an individual or with a group - in a sacred and honoring manner.
