Astrology, reincarnation, and past lives: the connection is stronger than you might think.
Astrology is the study of the stars. Reincarnation is the process of being born again into a new life after an earlier life is over. What can the two possibly have to do with each other?
When a baby is born, if someone took a snapshot of the heavens, the picture that resulted would show -- if such a detailed view were possible! -- the stars and planets, as well as the sun and moon in unique positions, for that brief moment, in relation to each other and to the baby in the very place of birth.
When you see a birth chart, you are in fact looking at a representation of that very sky map, the heavens frozen in time over one little spot on Earth. For an astrologer, that map is like a signpost for a life.The way the planets are distributed around the circle of your chart acts like a series of signposts to you and your destiny. many people know that. What they often don't realize is that the whole chart offers signposts to the past.
Astrology as a Reincarnation Treasure Hunt
Your chart is chock full of clues: astrology, reincarnation, past lives and even future lives can be searched for in the stars. You might even find your astrological soul mate! Tracking them and interpreting them can be as exciting as a treasure hunt!
All kinds of factors come into play. The Moon can be a great indicator, depending on where it is in the chart, and its South Node even more so. In fact, this factor along with its house placement, will give a very good idea as to the sort of person you used to be. It might even reveal how you behaved and even the lessons you learned then and need to continue learning in this life, or maybe move on from.The counterpart of the lunar South Node is the North Node, and this gives a powerful sign toward present and future potential. It offers guidance as to how to make the best use of the lessons learned in those past lives hinted at by the South Node. A birth chart can describe a baby's potential, his or her qualities and gifts. it can also give very strong suggestions as to the nature of probably events along the way. This does not mean that the chart will give exact details of future events, although sometimes in some circumstances it comes close. When the horoscope is examined carefully with an eye that can distinguish patterns of karma, great insights to future trends and potential can result.
Astrological Soul Mates
In my own practice, I have also found that it is sometimes possible to discern past connections between people. Sometimes the strong feeling that one has met a person somewhere before can be a pointer to a past encounter. Surprisingly strong feelings of attraction to someone just met, or an unaccountable deep dislike of a person after the briefest of contact, can be tracked in the charts of both people.

At every point along the way, the choice is yours as to how you behave, act, react and choose to interact with others. If you have been hurt, do you choose to pay the hurt back with interest? Do you choose to hide so that you're safe? Or will you choose to heal and help so that others won't need to suffer as you did? The view of our possible past lives may be distant and hazy, but the stars can help you find a window through which to look, and also offer a guide somewhat like the key to a map.
