Home Redecorating
Using Color and Self Expression to Reflect your Spiritual Growth

You might want to change the feel of your space by home redecorating. It's an easy way to reflect your spiritual growth within your personal space -- and doesn't have to take much of your time or money!
Home redecorating can be as simple as rearranging the furniture you already have, buying a few items to express the changes in your life, or choosing a can (or more) of paint to change the feel of your home environment. There are plenty of TV shows on HGTV (in the United States), lots of how-to guides, and numerous videos that can help with your home redecorating projects. Of course, if you don't want to do it yourself, you can always hire a decorator who knows how to best reflect your spiritual growth in the space you inhabit.
Using the Color Wheel
The color wheel is probably familiar to you from art classes in school. It's a basic representation of how the human eye perceives color and relates to the color arrangement of the rainbow.
There's a multitude of ways in which you can approach color. For instance, you can switch from warm to cool tones (or vice versa) to support a shift in your energy. You can use neutrals for a sense of peace or to focus elsewhere. Complementary colors or clashing colors tend to keep you awake and focused. After a past life regression session you might even find yourself drawn to colors you never before liked. A can of paint and a paintbrush are simple and fairly inexpensive ways to experiment with your immediate environment and to express the changes in your spiritual growth. Whether you paint a whole room or just a wall -- or even draw a simple stripe on your existing walls -- you can alter the feel of your personal space with simple use of the color wheel.
Self Expression
Your home can also reflect your personal development through self expression. Objects that represent your completed karma or symbolize your future spiritual goals act as reminders, motivators, inspiration, and support on your path. Remember, though, that objects are symbols -- not magic. They're not short-cuts for avoiding the work of true spiritual growth.
Those on a spiritual path often set aside a special place in their home to keep an altar. These are highly personalized: don't let anyone else tell you what to place on yours. Find objects that have meaning to you, whether religious or not, and include them in your home redecorating project. My personal space contains a large, bamboo plate on which I arrange stones that had been gifted to me for healing sessions. I also have three glass shelves in the same area for items that have similar meaning to me.
Many people know not to handle items that arranged in a ritualistic or careful manner. But many other people are new to the idea of sacred objects, objects with power, or even just to keeping personal objects presonal. If someone reaches for your sacred things -- don't be shy if you don't want them touched. Just say so, gently. It's important to keep the energy of your sacred objects clear and connected to your own energy. This is especially true of crystals.
You don't need sacred objects to express yourself if you don't feel a need for them. A print of a historical period related to your past life regression experience can be a wonderful reminder of how far you've journeyed. Or visit an antiques or consignment shop for bits and pieces of history representing your previous lives. The best way to find meaningful items in such shops is to relax your mind and wander the aisles without any particular goal. You'll be drawn to those objects that are most powerful for you.
An On-Going Process
As your spiritual growth continues, you'll probably want to make more changes in your personal space. Approach home redecorating as an ongoing process rather than a final result. It's the best way to always feel at home in your personal space.
