Life in the FutureThe Big Picture
Most people want a peek at their own future lives. But, every now and then, someone engages a future life progressions session to see just how the world itself might turn out. 
One science fiction writer I know experienced her progressions to better inform her stories. We can easily imagine that
Leonardo da Vinci
,
Arthur C. Clarke,
or
Gene Roddenberry
might have glanced into their future lives. Just consider their designs for flying machines, space craft, and all manner of technologies, many of which - in one degree or another - have already come true in the present. What's futuristic today certainly can become the mundane in the not too distant future.As an earth-based Virgo, I question the so what of any situation. So what if visionaries can see their futures? Does that knowledge bring value to their/our present circumstances? I want to know how we can use that unique perspective to improve lives in the time-body-space moment of our present reality.
Considering the state of the world today, I believe any information gleaned about life in the future can be useful whether the knowledge comes from our deep inner selves - brought to consciousness through imagination - or whether future life progressions, in fact, reveal potential truths. Either way, what we learn can help us to heal our Earth. As Che Guevera said, Future Historians
For example, wouldn't it be great to see how America's health care predicament might be resolved? A future historian traveling ahead a lifetime or two to see how their own health problems are healed might contribute to today's efforts to make that future a reality.It doesn't take a lot of future life progressions to see the results of what we've been doing to the environment. As a proponent of a greener, more renewable-resources world, you can visit a future to see the results of various environmental actions. Then you can actively work toward the potential future that contains the best possible outcome.
