Past Life Investigation How-To
Following the steps of this Past Life Investigation How-To list, you can research the information you've obtained from your past life regression sessions. Many of my clients receive deep answer, relevant guidance, and insight into the problems and questions of their present life and are satisfied that their past life regressions provided great value to them. Other clients, even when they realize this value, are intellectually curious about the historic "proof" of their past life regressions. They can't accept the insight and growth they've received by venturing back through their previous lifetimes until they've performed a past life investigation. If you want to conduct your own past life investigation, here's an easy-to-follow how-to guide you can use.

How to Conduct Your Own Past Life Investigation
- Take notes immediately following your past life regression session. Or tape it and review the tape. The problem with taping is that often you don't speak every detail you see during the session, and you might miss important clues. Your memory is better right after your regression.
- Sort your notes into lists of factual information -- those details that can be verified. Include:
- any dates you either noticed or "felt" during your regression
- any names, whether you recognize them or not
- location information: include flora and fauna, especially anything unusual; buildings; horizons; etc.
- any events that effect more than your self and immediate past life family
- Research your lists of data:
- use the library, including research librarians
- use the Internet. Wikipedia may not be your best final source, but it's a great place to start. Any question-and-answer sites may also give you great leads, but don't accept "factual" information at face value on these sites. Do your own research.
- check museums, art galleries, and art books. Sometimes you'll recognize something visually that your fact-oriented search missed.
- Remember to include your feelings and senses in your investigation. If it "felt like" the Middle Ages, for instance, do some reading on the time period. You may just find bits and pieces of info that trigger your "oh, yeah, that feels familiar" response. Pursue the leads.

A Few Caveats
Remember that past life investigation is not yet a science. I think it might become one some day, but we'll all have to wait a while.Be careful: don't dismiss the value of your past life regression session if you can't "prove" it historically. If the information you received from your regression helps you learn, grow, understand, or communicate better in your present life, it has value to you -- whether or not you can place that particular lifetime on a historic timeline. Also remember that you can always regress back to the same life again. You can search for more "information," pursue details, or specific events that might further help your past life investigation.
