They are simply stored in a deeper area of your mind than you use every day. They belong to you the same way the memory of, for instance, the tree outside your childhood home belongs to you.

All a regression does is access that memory already stored deep in your mind. Simple.

Backwards isn't the only direction you go, either. A future life progression can provide you with a glimpse into your possible futures and highlight those areas of your present life that you might want to work on now.

A regression session takes place in a nonthreatening environment where you can relax and enter a state of hypnosis. Remember: all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You are safe if you are in the presence of a therapist who is trained in regressions and hypnotherapy.
