Guardian Angels Aren't Our Past Lives

I do not think guardian angels are our own self. i believe as it is written, that they are separate entities from the the human souls, created by God. I do believe though they do speak to us and guide us, which could also be explained as our higher self/intuition speaking to us.

After all, who could possibly know me and my needs better? Am I - are you - my/your own Guardian Angel?

scripture tells us that God says "before" he formed us, he "knew" us.so He knows us better than we know ourselves. therefore, he has charged his angels to watch over us according to his overall divine plan for each individual human here on earth.
