My Favorite Karma Quotes

I was really impressed by both Wayne Dyer quotes. They made me think more about what karma means to me.
"How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours."
Wish I could get to this stage of awareness; I've been trying. To be able to distinguish the energy that belongs to each person in an interaction while it's happening...what a goal! Usually I'm still living in a reaction that gets caught up in the other person's intention, or what I imagine is their intention. And then I'm all entangled.
I wish I could step back immediately, kind of "get" that what the other person is saying or doing to me is all their "stuff." And then I could respond from a clear, clean, spiritual place inside myself. Wouldn't that be great? I guess we're all a work in progress.
"Begin to see yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul."
I've heard before that our bodies are sort of the castles for our souls, but I didn't understand so clearly how to turn my attention around on this idea. I'm going to practice thinking about myself as a soul first. It'll take a while, but I think it's inner work well worth the effort.
