What Life am I Living?

by Remko van Dokkum
(Netherlands)

After looking at my photo on the astrology and reincarnation page, I thought about my present situation. I'm at a point in my life when I have to make a decision, set a goal. My work in the arts and theatre is not bringing in enough money to live on.

So my choice becomes to find a job that brings in more money or find a life that needs less. In a world where people die of hunger and war, who am I to say I need more?

If people could look into their future and see their goals accomplished, should not all those goals be to make the world a better place for all people?

Your site made me think, what lives did I live, what lives will I live, and what life am I living?

Thanks for the food for thought.

It's so interesting to see how the Internet brings people together. Interesting, fascinating, and too good to be true. I'm honored to be able to contribute to this site.

Greetings from Amsterdam,

My Response

Remko,

Your thoughts moved me and reminded me of the reason why I'm writing this website. it's to offer support, help, and encouragement to all the visitors on their individual paths to spiritual growth and improving their present lives. Thanks for sending me your note.

Let my say first that money itself is not a bad thing, or a good thing for that matter. It's what people do with their money. To be a good person and to do well for others doesn't mean that you must stay at the bottom of the money-chain.

There are superbly marvelous things that some people who have money can do for others and for the planet. I've seen a privately owned two-acre bird sanctuary. I've seen lots of people make small contributions and build a library in an inner-city neighborhood. These are just two of many examples.

From all I've learned in doing past life regression work (and shamanic work previously) -- follow your heart and soul. You seem remarkably in touch with both. Value the products of the work of your heart and soul, and give others the opportunity to do the same. It's a similar lesson to the one I'm learning in my own life -- over and over.
